The Administrative Operations Division consists of the Judicial Protection Services Section, Training, Field Support, and the Quartermaster’s Office.
The Judicial Protective Services Section provides security for the county court systems and transports inmates to and from court appearances. Currently, the Judicial Protective Services Section provides security for the courts at the Banke Justice Complex, the Clayton County Youth Development and Justice Center, and the Probate Court at Annex Building III. The Field Support Section consists of the Training Section and the Quartermaster’s Office.
The Training Section has the monumental task of ensuring the entire Sheriff’s Office meets state training requirements. This section is responsible for training new employees to ensure they are adequately prepared to handle situations that may arise on shift. For more information on the Training Unit, click here.
